Need some of that money

I am not a member of any church. I did a little study with Mormons. A little study with JW's, they both come a knocking. My husband was a RC & l have stacks of that theology that l have saved & filed along with the other. Now, l can tell you l have studied deeply with SDA's and EGW never claimed to be a prophet. The church claims that & l agree with them. She herself never claimed to be a prophet. As you read her writings, she never says anything contrary to scripture that l have found. I think God uses her to explain the meaning to make it easier to understand. My RC husband once said, "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Adventists are in first place." I tend to think, this post is splitting a lot of hairs. Yes, Satan is Suttle. Although l am not a member of the SDA church, it would be my 1st choice. AMEN!

I believe I have been given the "gift of singleness" as it relates to not NEEDING intimacy to feel fulfilled. That being said, I'm a recently divorced man, and I hope to have another chance at marriage and a family of my own someday (be that with my ex or someone else). This isn't because of a desire to have intimacy but rather because of a desire to be a husband and father. As far as intimacy goes, I feel I could happily remain without it for the rest of my life.

Yeah but life is hard, job situation, high rent, etc. Money sure does buy freedom. Id love to win even 100k. These times suck and this country is getting worse.

I needed everything mentioned in this sermon. Despair from the enemy cost me ten or so years I’ll never get back. I won’t be a worn out old punching bag for the enemy anymore. My thoughts and feelings are just things happening in my brain and thank God he is so much bigger and more powerful over what goes on in my head. Thoughts are not reality brothers and sisters. Only the Word is true. Capture every thought that pops up in your mind and do a TSA passenger check. Pat down, x-ray it all and screen it through scripture and if it doesn’t pass, it’s a lie from the enemy.

The term alcohol means spirit killer it also invites evil spirits. There are different processes of fermenting grapes> the early stages of this actually are benificial to the body as probiotics. But the longer it ferments the stronger it gets but must be heavily filtered. Today wine or alcohol is processed for a more powerful affect. Hope you use all scripture and not just some that show bias examples. We are all sinners even gluttany is a sin people do it every day. Jesus said its not what goes in the body but what comes out. Its about the heart of the matter that makes a sin a sin. The purpose of the use. You are using the old hippi terms of being cool for use. Some people are addicted to coffee and act like the devil till they get thier cup. You are judging people and are in the act of sinning as you are giving this teaching. I have smoked on and off all my life. I love God with all my heart and believe that God loves us just as we are with all or good and bad. The bible says that what is good for one is bad for the other. Look up the true history of the use of marijuana and all its benefit before they marked as a schedule one drug. It was on this earth so abundant it was used for many purposes all the way down to the stalk as the strongest rope made. The problem was the demon (man) wanting control over what was given freely by God. Anything can be miss used and abuse and be sin and anything you idle or place before God. You sound like an advocate against marijuana. Jesus spoke that we do this one thing for our salvation because he knew that we are as filthy rags. Only by him are we made righteous. That we love our neighbors as our selves its all about love. And nobody teaches that but they love legalism and call that love.

How can we discern the promises for Israel, and the promises applicable to the church at large? Some promises, especially in the old testament, were specifically for Israel - not gentile believers. That's what I've been told.

God shows us His Holiness & Love, teaching us how to be Holy. God guides, councils, corrects, encourages us By His Word: "The Bible". How can a student learn, without going to class & learning from text books taught at school ?!!! So, is our learning, growing, advancing by applying God's Word in The Bible. I grieved the Sprit for over 15 years, and decided end of 2019 that is was time to come home. Nothing could have prepared me for the depression and grief that were to follow. It’s been nearly 4.5 years since that day, and I still feel lost and abandoned. I don’t believe there is a greater torment than that of someone who has grieved the Spirit of God. To desire that sweet communion with Him so bad that it can physically hurt, and yet by all perception, be so far from obtaining it. I often wonder if God will ever restore the joy of my salvation, and if I will ever again be allowed to fellowship with my Creator through His precious Spirit. I guess only time will tell…
